I’ve always wanted to dine at La Chine. It’s the perfect combination of exquisite Chinese cuisine and refined French execution all in an elegant setting. So on the Chinese Moon Festival, my family and I celebrated the night here and enjoyed some of the most delicately prepared regional dishes we’ve ever tasted.
The Chilean sea bass and black cod dishes were such a delightful surprise. At first we were worried the dishes would be too westernized, but they were actually incredibly authentic and delicious. It’s really unfortunate that the Waldorf is closing soon in March for renovations. So make sure to stop by and savor the experience while you can.
